Active listening
Active listening refers to a communication and listening technique in which the listener uses non-verbal communication, such as nodding or eye contact, to signal that he or she is attentive to the speaker.
Active listening is making oneself available to another without interference from one's own concerns; being fully attentive to the needs and concerns of the others.
