Naloxone (Narcane) is a drug that blocks the positive effects of heroin and can lead to a decreased desire to use it.

Naloxone is a substance that inhibits the activity of opiates; short-acting opiate antagonist. It is hypothesized that Naloxone also inhibits the activity of endorphins and therefore can have an effect on pain perception.
