Emmert"s law
Emmert"s law refers to a law stating that the size of an Afterimage depends on the distance of the surface against which the Afterimage is viewed. The farther away the surface, the la rger the afterimage appears.

To put it simply, Emmert' Law states that "the size of an afterimage is proportional to the viewing distance".
