Wernicke's Encephalopathy

Wernicke's Encephalopathy refers to an acute Condition that is associated with long-term, heavy Alcohol use. It involves delirium, eye movement disturbances, difficulties in movement and balance, and deterioration of the peripheral nerves to the hands and feet.
