Infectious insanity
Infectious insanity which is also known as Communicated insanity, Shared psychotic disorder, Double insanity, and Folie à deux refers to the slow development of a delusion as a result of being in a symbiotic relationship in which the subordinate party develops the delusion held by the dominant party.
