Lymphatic system refers to the drainage system of the body; believed to be involved in immune functioning; system that transports lymph through the body. Lymphatic system, moreover is a network of capillaries that lie along blood vessels and carry a colorless fluid called Lymph that is composed of fats, proteins, and water and holds the white blood cells (WBCs). .
