Personal fable refers to a belief in one's uniqueness and invulnerability, which is an expression of adolescent egocentrism. Personal fable is allegedly a form of adolescent egocentrism in which the individual thinks that he and his thoughts and feelings are special or unique; an intense investment in one's own thoughts and feelings and a belief that these thoughts are unique.
