Componential Intelligence refers to one of three (3) components of intellectual Behavior in Sternberg's Triarchic Model of Intelligence involving such skills as the ability to allocate menta l resources, to encode and store information, to plan and monitor, to identify problems, and to acquire new knowledge; contrast with experimental intelligence and contextual intelligence.
