A-Trait is another name for Trait anxiety that refers to Personality characteristic that manifests itself as a more or less constant feeling of dread or uneasiness.

Trait anxiety o r A-Trait reflects the existence of stable individual differences in the tendency to respond with state anxiety in the anticipation of threatening situations.
