Self-efficacy
Self-efficacy refers to a sense that one is competent and effective, distinguished from self-esteem, one's sense of self worth and that one is capable of performing the behaviors that will produce desired outcomes in any particular situation. A bombardier might feel high self-efficacy and low self-esteem.
Other /More definition:
Self-Efficacy refers to a sense of confidence that one can perform the behaviors that are demanded in a specific situation; a conviction that one can successfully execute the behavior required to produce the outcome.
