Transformation refer to the stages of Jungian psychoanalytic therapy:

Stage 1- involves the client sharing life experiences and telling secrets not typically told to others;

Stage 2 - includes the therapist analyzing the transference and countertransference relationship with the client gaining insight into unconscious material;

Stage 3 - the therapist helps the client translate insights into his current life; and

Stage 4 - the client seeks self-actualization interacting with the therapist on an equal level where both are affected.
