The Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale refers to a rating scale that was designed to measure involuntary movements known as Tardive Dyskinesia, a disorder that sometimes develops as a side effect of long-term treatment with neuroleptic (antipsychotic) medications.

Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale is also known as AIMS.
