Constructive Play
Constructive Play characterized as manipulation of objects for the purpose of constructing or creating something (Rubin, 1984). Children use materials to achieve a specific goal in mind that requires transformation of objects into a new configuration. Usually emerges around two years of age and predominates from age three on. Lego pieces turned to cars or houses is an example of this play
