Analogue study
Analogue study refers to a investigation that attempts to replicate or simulate, under controlled conditions, a situation that occurs in real life. Likewise it is research procedure which studies behaviours that resemble mental disorders or isolated features of mental disorders. Usually employed in situations in which the investigator hopes to gain greater experimental control over the independent variable.
