Audiologist
Audiologist refers to a professional who specializes in the identification, testing, habilitation and rehabilitation of hearing loss and hearing related disorders .
A person who is also extensively trained in the anatomy and physiology of the audtiory mechanism, counseling for hearing disorders, and diagnostic testing/fitting of hearing aids as well as assistive listening devices.
