Enzymes
Enzymes refer to proteins that lower the energy of activation and, therefore, catalyze chemical reactions. Enzymes regulate the rate of most metabolic pathways .
Enzymes are any proteins that catalyze biological reactions; complex proteins produced by living cells that act as catalysts for biochemical reactions.
