Toxoplasmosis
Toxoplasmosis refers to a disease caused by a parasite found in raw meat and cat feces. It can cause birth defects if transmitted to an embryo in the first trimester and miscarriage later in pregnancy.
It also refers to a parasite that can cause headache, sore throat, seizures, altered mental status, or coma.
