Confirmation bias
Confirmation bias is a a tendency to search for information that confirms one's preconceptions.
Confirmation Bias is the tendency to behave toward others in ways that confirm your expectations about them. Moreover, it is a tendency to seek only information consistent with one’s hypothesis.
