Inferior colliculi

Inferior colliculi refer to two (2) elevations within the roof of the tectum, which serve as an important relay center for the auditory pathway. Inferior colliculi are midbrain structures that control sound localization. Moreover, Inferior colliculus is the swelling on each side of the tectum in the midbrain
