Inferential statistic is defined as a statistical test that allows one to infer the likelihood that an observed result is due to chance alone. Inferential Statistics, moreover are statistical procedures that help researchers determine whether obtained results support their hypotheses or can be attributed to chance variation; statistical methods used to determine when it is appropriate to generalize the results from a sample to an entire population.
