Literature search refers to the process of examining the formal scientific body of knowledge for written material relevant to a particular area of research; a method of searching databases in a library or on the Web using a computer. Moreover, Literature search is defined as the process of gaining a general familiarity with the current research conducted in a subject area, and finding a small set of journal articles that will serve as the basis for a research idea and will provide the justification or foundation for new research.
