Bored With Life Syndrome (BWLS) refers to combined feelings of depression, frustration, boredom and uselessness which manifest in married males and females after the initial sexual energy in their relationships has waned or disappeared. This emotional condition is often complicated by the birth of children and can lead to clinical depression. The only effective cures for this emotional affliction are divorce or adultery. Research shows that marriage counseling is ineffective in cases of BWLS.
