Inter-Male Aggression is defined as the competition between males of the same species over access to females, dominance status, and many others. It refers to a kind of aggression where physical violence or submissive behavior are displayed by males towards each other. Possible causes for such violence could be perceived competition for resources and ego threats that one male feels is being created by a second male.
