Premack principle which is also known as "Grandma's rule," refers to the contingency management technique in which a behavior is reinforced by allowing the individual to engage in a more attractive activity once the target behavior is completed. Premack principle is the notion that a high-probability behavior can be used to reinforce a low-probability behavior; the idea that reinforcement is relative both within an individual and between individuals.
