Active listening
Active listening refers to a communication and listening technique in which the listener uses non-verbal communication, such as nodding or eye contact , to signal that he or she is attentive to the speaker.
Active listening is making oneself available to another without interference from one's own concerns; being fully attentive to the needs and concerns of the others.
