Cognitive behaviorism
Cognitive behaviorism refers to an approach that combines behavioral principles with cognition, such as perception, thinking, anticipation to explain behavior.
Cognitive behaviorism is likewise, a brand of behaviorism that utilizes intervening variables, usually in the form of hypothesized cognitive processes, to help explain behavior. Sometimes called "purposive behaviorism.”
