Dialectical behavior therapy is a Cognitive-behavioral therapy developed by Marsha Linehan for borderline personality disorder and related conditions that teaches skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Moreover, Dialectical behavior therapy refers to an evidence-based therapy designed for the treatment of suicidal patients and those with borderline disorder. Incorporated into this treatment are mindfulness values and meditation techniques.
