Medulloblastoma refers to a brain tumor seen most frequently in children rapidly growing and very malignant located in the inferior vermis close to the exit of cerebrospinal fluid fr om the fourth ventricle. This type of tumor accounts for about two thirds of all tumors in children and produces increased intracranial pressure caused by obstructive hydrocephalus.
