Affectively based attitudes
Affectively based attitudes are based more on people’s feelings and values than on beliefs about the nature of the attitude object, the heart over the head.
Affectively based attitudes come from a variety of sources: basic religious and moral beliefs, sensory reactions (e.g., chocolate), or conditioning through the linking of a stimulus and a response.
