Peremptory challenges
Peremptory challenges is a term used in Forensic psychology that refers tolimited number of challenges by which a potential juror may be dismissed by either the prosecution or the defense without assignment of reason. (see Challenge for cause or Voir dire )
Likewise defined as set number of challenges allowed each side (prosecution and defense) during Voir dire to remove jurors suspected of bias against that side.
