Autistic Spectrum Disorders include several pervasive Developmental disorders (PDDs), all characterized by significant impairments in social and Communication skills, and stereotyped
patterns of interests and behaviors. These include autistic disorder, Asperger's Disorder, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).
Autistic Spectrum Disorders is also known as ASDs.
