Emotion -oriented coping strategy (Endler & Parker, 1988) refers to one of the three (3) major (stress) coping strategies which involves efforts to maintain hope and to Control one's e
motions. Emotion-oriented strategy can also involve venting feelings of anger and frustration, or deciding that nothing can be done to change things. Problems in Emotion-oriented coping will not be solve, if the individuals remains self-preoccupied and tense.
