Normative history-graded influences are events experienced by most people in a culture at the same time.
Normative influence refers to conformity based on a person's desire to fulfill others' expectations, usually to gain acceptance; conformity motivated by a desire to win the approval of others or avoid their disapproval
Normative model of decision making refers to a theory of decision making and leadership developed by Victor Vroom that predicts the effectiveness of group-centered, consultative, and autocratic decisional procedures across a number of group settings.
Normative social influence refers to the influence of other people that leads us to conform in order to be liked and accepted by them; this type of conformity results in public compliance with but not necessarily private acceptance of the group's beliefs and behaviors.
Norming stage refers to the third stage of the team process, in which teams establish roles and determine policies and procedures.
