Advance directives refer to instructions from an individual about actions that the individual would or would not want to be taken if he or she were somehow incapacitated and unable to join in making decisions;
Advanced empathic responses a term which is used in which after becoming proficient at conversational empathic responses, clinicians are encouraged to make these kinds of responses which often bring about deeper levels of understanding for the client.
