Forced distribution method

Forced distribution method refers to a performance appraisal method in which a pre-determined percentage of employees are placed into a number of performance categories.

Forced-choice rating scale

Forced-choice rating scale is defined as a method of performance appraisal in which a supervisor is given several behaviors and is forced to choose which of them is most typical of the employee.

Forced-choice recognition test

Forced-choice recognition test is defined as a test in which the participant must select between two (2) or more statements; usually used to control response styles

Forceps

Forceps is defined as a curved instrument that fits around the head of the baby and permits it to be pulled through the birth canal. Only used when necessary

Forcible rape

Forcible Rape is defined as sexual intercourse carried out against the victim's will and under the threat of violence or bodily injury. Moreover, Forcible rape refers to assaults or attempts to commit rape by force or threat of force are also included in the UCR definition; however, statutory rape (without force) and other sex offenses are excluded.
