Heteronomous morality refers to a child's moral perspective, in which rules are viewed as fixed and unchangeable. It is Piaget’s first stage of moral development, in which children view the rules of authority figures as sacred and unalterable.

Heterophobia refers to strongly negative attitude toward heterosexuals and heterosexuality.

Heterosexism refers to the "presumption of heterosexuality” that has sociological implications. Likewise , is it the assumption that all individuals and relationships are heterosexual.

Heterosexual refers to a person who is attracted to the opposite sex .

Heterozygous when the alleles in a pair of chromosomes differ from each other; having two (2) two different alleles.

Heuristic refers to a rule of thumb that often helps in solving a certain class of problems, but makes no guarantees. Likewise, a rule-of-thumb strategy that enables quick, efficient judgments.

Heuristic persuasion attitude change resulting from cues which indicate that the position advocated in a message is valid
