Metamerism refers to the situation in which two (2) physically different stimuli are perceptually identical. In vision, Metamerism refer to two (2) lights with different wavelength distributions that are perceived as having the same color.

Metamotivation

Metamotivation is the motivation of self -actualizers, which involves maximizing personal potential rather than striving for a particular goal object.

Metaneeds / Meta-Needs

Metaneeds is the state of growth or being toward which self -actualizers evolve. In Maslow's hierarchy, Metaneeds refer to needs associated with impulses for self-actualization.

Metaphor

Metaphor is defined as a form of language in which a word or phrase that literally denotes one idea is interpreted to mean a different one and suggests a similarity between the two (2). Likewise, Metaphors are two (2) nouns juxtaposed in a way that positively asserts their similarities, while not disconfirming their dissimilarities

Metastasis

Metastasis is a form of tumor spreading in which tissue from a malignant tumor "travels" to other organs in the body through the bloodstream. The capacity for Metastasis is a characteristic of all malignant tumors. Metastatic brain tumors typically originate from sites other than the brain, most frequently the lung or the breast.

Metastatic tumors

Metastatic tumors refer to growths that arise secondarily to cancerous tumors that have their primary site in other parts of the body, such as the lungs, breasts, or the lymphatic system. The secondary growths arise because cancer cells from the primary neoplasm detach and travel to other sites through the blood system.
