Conditioned Reflex

Conditioned Reflex refers to non-voluntary response to a stimulus, expressed through behavior or physiologic alteration, similar to previous responses obtained by repetition of the stimulus

Conditioned reinforcer

Conditioned reinforcer refers to a reinforcer that loses its effectiveness permanently through unpaired presentations. An unpaired presentation is the presentation of the event without its being associated with any other reinforcers. xConditioned reinforcers are generally assumed by Behavior analysts as that are caused by a previously non-reinforcing event being frequently paired with a reinforcing event. This pairing may occur when the non-reinforcing event serves as a discriminative stimulus.
