Emblems refer to non-verbal gestures that have well-understood definitions or meanings within a given or particular culture ; they usually have direct verbal translations, such as the OK sign or the "hush" or be quiet sign"
Embolism is defined as a type of occlusion of an artery in which the clot forms in one area of the body and travels through the arterial system to another area, in this case, the brain, where it becomes lodged and obstructs cranial blood flow. Approximately 14% of all CVAs are caused by an Embolism. Embolism is derived from the Greek word "embolos" which means "plug" or "wedge".
Embracery also spelled Imbracery is defined as an attempt to influence a jury illegally as by bribery, threats, or promises.
Embryo cryopreservation refers to the freezing of Embryos for later use.
Embryonic disk refers to the platelike inner part of the blastocyst that differentiates into the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm of the embryo.
