Stereotype refers to a generalization about a group of people in which identical characteristics are assigned to virtually all members of the group, regardless of actual variation among the members.
Stereotype Threat refers to the theory that an individual's sense of self and personal performance can be affected when the individual is reminded of a negative or positive stereotype of him or herself, including gender, race, or religion.
Stereotype vulnerability refers to the apprehension experienced by members of a minority group that they might behave in a manner that confirms an existing cultural stereotype
Stereotyped behaviors refer to preconceived and relatively fixed impressions of an individual based on superficial characteristics or over-generalizations of traits observed in some people.
Stereotypic movement disorder refers to a disorder in which the individual voluntarily repeats nonfunctional behaviors, such as rocking or head-banging, that can be damaging to his or her physical well-being.
